I get that boxes are hit or miss, that's understandable. And to be clear I'm not saying I'm entitled to a Cam auto because I bought a case or a 1/1 or anything ridiculous. Even something like a Dalton auto/75 would have been fine. All I'm saying is that there should have been at least 1 auto of one of the top guys. Every hit in the product is a rookie so the only real "mojo" on a pre-season release is going to be guys who have a lot of hype going in. I kind of expect that there's at least 1 auto of a top 10 guy.

I completely agree with you, if you buy a case, you should absolutely be guaranteed something, its called a case hit for everyone trying to be diplomatic and defend Topps for this atrocity.
I also bought box after box from a freshly opened case only to get the same crap you described. Just a terrible product that reminds me to really research the product before you buy, ie, what type of case hits are there in a product, etc.

I'm going to have to agree with the original poster. Yes, the nature of the hobby is purchasing high end product - especially new product - and having a box turn up a lower tier rookie auto. Yes, it's going to happen.

But, there are specific cards made to be "1 per case" and the brand needs to ensure that these hits make the value for their customer. For example - maybe he didn't get an AJ Green /25 .. but who said it needed to be a RC? I think a premium star like a Big Ben /10 or legend like a Howie Long /15 would suffice for a case hit.

Im with you. Its a beautiful product but a total rip off. I am glad I only bought 1 box. I paid a hundred bucks plus tax so 108 and some change and the best card I got would sell for 6-7 bucks if Im lucky.....WHAT A JOKE.

Got Bilal Powell, Austin Pettis (x2) patch autos

Also had 2 Randall Cobb patch autos but sold them. So, I guess that's another complaint about my box, of the 5 patch autos, 2 were doubles.

I really hate it for ya man.. i know its gotta put a bad taste in your mouth.. a case of cards is not exactly cheap. i read on a review recently, that inception offered best bang for your buck as far as value.
