My mom did lose one of her breasts then, but lived cancer free for the rest of her life. She lived until just a couple weeks shy of her 90th birthday (2010). I still remember her showing me her prothestic breast when she got it shortly after her surgery. She took it out of the box and said, "Here, feel it. It feels just like the real thing!" Ummm... no. But that was just who she was.
I bet your aunt comes out of this better than you all had hoped. Women with that type of spirit can beat it.
My mom would probably say the same thing in that situation.

I'd love to see a pic w/ one of his shoes sitting beside one of your own shoes. Just make sure to list the size of shoe you are comparing it to.
