The world's most trusted source in collecting

But then, my philosophy for my cards is that I am a collector, not a profiteer.

This whole secondary market business with Ebay, while nice because I've found a few cards on there to add to my collection, has destroyed a lot of what I found fun about collecting as a kid. I still find my own brand of fun, but trying to collect a set nowadays is next to impossible because of people who buy up gazillions of boxes just for "hits" and trash the rest. It jacks up prices, and makes it hard to find other people who don't want to trade my few autographed and relic cards for insert cards or base.
I'd still rip it. Inherently, I'd be way more curious about what the mini is inside the rip card than the potential profit I could make to buy another box if I sold the thing on Ebay. I wasn't intending to be harsh toward you, just throwing out my two cents.
