Most of my favorite cards are defensive players. Ive got every auto card of Bruce Carter except one(might not have heard of him yet but you will when he gets of the PUP in Dallas,Physical freak!! Saw him every saturday for the tar heels.

You're forgetting the best DE in the NFL Mario Williams is a linebacker now , lol still would be second to this guy

I dont have a lot of higher end stuff besides maybe some of my Suh stuff.
I have a lot but just bc of my Dolphins and Ducks guys....but here are a couple of my favorite players and then some of the more obscure guys that dont have many autos or mem

My problem with Defensive players is that:
1. My guys move around too much OR
2. Nobody knows who they are OR
3. No company makes many cards of them

I have always been a big fan of the following Panthers players:

*Julius Peppers--very few AU's and most of his stuff is quite expensive

*Mike Minter--not many people know who he is b/c he played Safety for the Panthers for his whole career--has very few cards

*Sam Mills--mostly only Panthers and Saints fans know who he is--died in 2005? of cancer--also the ONLY Panthers player in the Panthers HOF and has statues outside the Panthers stadium. I have a pic of me beside his statue on the southside of the stadium, but it's not in my computer or PB. I do have it on my MySpace page though. I will try to load it later.

*Reggie White--I mostly just have base cards of him. I was a fan of his when he was with the Eagles, before he went to the Packers and also before the Panthers got him. What a great player AND human!

The rest of the defensive guys I really collect(ed) have moved around to other teams or retired due to injury or age. Dan Morgan was a great player, but had the same problem as Bob Sanders--ALWAYS hurt before getting 16 straight starts. It always seems that when I get a decent card or PC of a defensive player, they get hurt or change teams. I have lots of examples that I won't bore you all with, unless you request it.

Woodson is going to have some autos in Gold Standard this year according to Panini! Will prolly be too pricey for me to land one, but can't wait to see them!
