and yes, grading is tough.. not much difference from a 9 to a 9.5 from the naked eye

Thank you, chibearsboy! I really do like how cards look in the BGS case. Adds alittle something visually. I also like protecting cards that have a little more meaning to me. I've got a couple with some horrible grades though. I think the lowest I have is a 6. Lol.

Thanks sconnienation3! Hope you get one soon as well. Sometimes the prices on them get crazy, so it pays to be patient.

(09-30-2011 07:47 AM)biglump007 Wrote:  Very nice bro and like chi said grading is tuff it's hard to tell by the naked eye on stuff, centering is the hardest to judge IMO

Thank you, biglump! I definitely agree that centering is hard to tell, because alot of cards don't have a border in the design. Not sure exactly how they can tell if the centering is off on cards like that. Plus, the whole grading thing is really just a judgement call by the grader, so I'm trying to pick up better graded cards through auctions.

Anyhow, it's a 1/1, so a 9 is an awesome grade!! Can't wait for you to show off a few more of those in the near future!

Damn, you've got great eyes, RW34! Smile Had to take out the card to see if you were right on the subgrades. Lol. Yes, it's 3 9.5's and 1 darn 8.5 to drop the overall grade to a 9.

I really can't complain too much about a 9 though for some reason. Wink

Thanks, Sman! I know some people don't think it's worth grading modern cards, but they look so darn cool to me. Smile

I'll check it out, buddy!
Really felt like I got a good price on this one. I would have paid the same for a raw version.
