RE: Football historians and Dolphins fans please help!
I like a few guys who didnt make the cut. You can interchange guys all day long. Offerdaul Cox many lineman to name a few.

Its all personal opinion. I like wake now b/c of his athleticism and his non stop motor. I think he could be one of thoes guys who will have a shorter career but have a big impact in dolphins lore.

As for kickers the dolphins have rarely had bad kickers over the years and I really like Carpenter now. Mare was great for so long and so was Pete then garo and Uwe.

I can go on and on for almost any position here. Smile

LMK what you wana know and i can probably tell ya if it involves the Dolphins. Yea i'm hardcore Tongue

Maybe I should run a 3 wr set because leaving super duper off the list is illegal. Lol.

RE: Football historians and Dolphins fans please help!
If I can add my opinion to this discussion on the offensive side

QB - Dan Marino, an obvious choice
RB - Ricky Williams, a decent catching back and great runner when the starter, became an excellent tandem with Ronnie Brown
FB - Larry Csonka, another easy choice
WR - Nat Moore, he had similar stats to Mark Clayton while started 18 fewer games. Clayton would be a good alternate here
WR - Mark Duper, the speed burner with the most yards and best career yards per catch
TE - Randy McMichael, better career Dolphin stats than Edmunds, Hardy, and Keith Jackson. Mandich was a backup for the majority of his career.
C - Jim Langer. Accroding to Pro Football Reference, he was the starting Center while garnering his 5 all-pro appearances and had a longer career than Stephenson.
RG - Larry Little, 5 all-pro appearances though Ed Newman was a close second.
LG - Bob Kuechenberg, 8-time hall of fame finalist and 6 time pro bowler
RT - Norm Evans, started 135 for the Fins, making two pro bowl games
LT - Richmond Webb, 7 straight pro bowls and a lot of career starts. I think Jake Long could supplant him in a few years

RE: This is tougher than I thought. All time Phins team on offense. Help!!!
Does this make sense? I went with a 3 WR set as I feel we never had a great TE. Duper, Clayton and Warfield are all great. Also its hard to leave out Jim Langer but I think Stephenson is the better option at center. It may be premature to place Jake Long at tackle but I really think he will go down as the best Phins o-lineman ever. What do you guys think? Also who would make a better slot receiver? Duper, Clayton or Warfield?

Offense

QB - Dan Marino
HB - Ricky Williams
FB - Larry Csonka
WR - Mark Clayton
WR - Mark Duper
WR - Paul Warfield
T - Richmond Webb
T - Jake Long
G - Larry Little
G - Bob Kuechenberg
C - Dwight Stephenson
