Here is my dilemma, I finally have enough cash to buy an auto game used card of a high end current player. I have narrowed my card down to either Mariano Rivera or Albert Pujols. I have debated for over 2 weeks and have come to no conclusion. Feel free to comment on who you would choose and why. Thank you.

Mariano Rivera v. Albert Pujols

Pujols, I do not really have a reason as to why but it would not be a tough decision for me. You can't go wrong either way though.
I think Mariano will be thought of as the greatest reliever ever; Albert though could be the greatest player ever. I probably would go with him, but either would be sweet
Royals Super Collector; PC's of Paul Splittorff, George Brett, Mike Sweeney
Mariano is great but he is a closer. Albert, like it has been said above, could be one of the greatest hitters ever. Easy choice for me and it's not just because I am a Cardinal fan.
Interested in EX-MT or better pre-'56 Cardinals, '53 Bowman Color & '74-'78 Topps.

RE: Mariano Rivera v. Albert Pujols
Pujols for me too. To me it would just feel right.
Rivera plays 60-70 games a year and one inning of each, about 70 innings per season. Pujols plays 150-160 games a year and all nine innings or about 1400-1450 innings per season. No contest. My Huge Wantlist: http://www.zeprock.com/WantList.html
Pujols definetly. yes Rivera is a great closer but I wouldn't say greatest. Hoffman has that tied up for now. Pujols is definetly one of the greatest hitters in history.
I'd go with Pujols. I like them both but that's just what I would do.
LF: Kyle Tucker, Ryan Mountcastle, Shane Bieber, Alex Bohm, Joe Ryan, & Dale Murphy

Hoffman has the most saves in a career but Rivera is by far the greatest closer. Who would you want in the 9th inning of every playoff game? To the OP, I'd also go with Pujols.
Pujols - for all the reasons stated above
I collect Peyton Manning and Griffey Jr.

I feel Mariano is harder to come by at a good price. Less out there as well. Just my opinion though. Good luck!
