I lucked out and found my chipper jones sparkle in a 50 cent box at a flea market a few weeks ago!

definitely wouldn't own the card otherwise since it sells for $20-25

I remember reading your thread a while back...that is so awesome! I can't bring myself to spend $20 on a sparkle. Not when I can pick up a handful of refractors I need for the same price. Too bad, though. I'd really like that sparkle.

same logic I had for not picking it up...chipper isn't a main guy we collect at all...but if we find a good deal on a card of his we like we will pick it up. if it was full price for going rate I have so many other cards I'd rather have for $20

heck we haven't even picked up the tommy hanson sparkle and its a lot cheaper I just don't think the sparkles are THAT cool looking by any means. glad we lucked into the chipper though. always love a good deal!

I've been keeping an extra watchful eye out for other sparkles since who knows maybe we will come across a 'cutch' to send your way haha
