Yes they are technically 2005-06, but for some reason they inserted like half in both products. Not sure why.
Hockey PC's: Tomas Tatar, Alexander Burmistrov, Boris Valabik, Zach Bogosian
Football PC's: Titus Young, Jimmy Smith, Ed Dickson, Michael Oher, Flacco/Rice and Manningham/Henne dual cards.

History time, boys and girls!!

Back in 2005/06 when Upper Deck was getting ready to release SP Authentic, they decided to release the product in two waves because they were sure that the first wave of cases to go out would sell out in record time and releasing a second wave slightly later would make sure SP Authentic was available for a while. So they held back 50% of the print run of every rookie card (regular and auto'd) and Sign of the times AU inserts for the second wave. Reality was that it didn't sell fast enough to justify producing a second wave of 2005-06 SPA before it was time to release 2006-07 products.

So there Upper Deck was, scratching their heads while wondering what to do with the 499 of 999 AU RCs they held back for wave two. Someone decided that they might as well toss them into that year's 2006-07 SP Authentic which they ended up doing because they stuffed those 06-07 SPAs with a bunch of bonus hits from leftover 05-06 cards. I've seen several reports of people getting both 05-06 Crosby FW AU RC AND 06-07 Malkin FW AU RC in THE SAME BOX!!

Moral of the story is that Upper Deck's misjudgement is collector's boon since 2006-07 SPA was the very best box for your dollar if you could find a box for a reasonable price. It still is to this day.

not necessarily true. 05-06 SP Authentic was the last year SPA had 1/1s and even though UD decided to split the rookies and rookie patches up into 2 sets, the 1/1's were still fully packed out in the 05-06 release.

as for what you get on average. i did 4 boxes of 06-07 back when it first came out and each box seemed to yield:

-2x 05-06 autos (1 fw rc auto, 1 other)
-2x 06-07 autos
