Off topic Beckett certificate errors.
I am getting a lot of certificate errors on this website saying that the certificate is not sercure and can not be trusted.Am I the only one getting these errors?
It seems to be the problem are the advertisments on top of some of the pages. The content is blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate.

from IT Guy:
This is completely my fault. I had the notice to renew the SSL security certificate, and I misread it. I though it expired on August "21" when it actually said August "12".
I'm in the process of getting the updated certificate now.
FYI: THE SITE IS STILL SECURE
Security certificates "expire" because the issuer wants to get paid when you renew it at the end of the term. In spite of the message you get when the cert is "expired", the encryption provided by the cert is still active, and still as strong as ever. You just have to click past that annoying security message to tell your browser it's ok to use the expired certificate.

I am getting the same error today. First time signing on in several days. Figure Beckett forgot to pay some kind of bill.

I had to swtch to IE to even use the site...Firefox won't allow me to view the site.
eBay has having issues today too....everything selling, watching, etc. can't be viewed.....I have items ending in the next 10 min. that people who were watching won't even be able to see in their "My eBay" now to even bid. Now I'm probably going to lose bids.
I'm uber pissed today because of all these issues.

if you are using firefiox, and cant create an exception (grayed out):
1. delete your browsing history first.
2. then create the exception

Or if you are using Firefox just change the date to the 10th you will be in the past but it will work.

Or maybe Beckett could run the First Class site they proclaim to have and avoid problems like this. Yes, I pay for the monthly OPG, and this is still the best trading site around, IMO. But they have plenty of flaws, and have had more than enough time to fix them. Maybe I should go back to school for IT and give them a hand when I graduate. Has to be a better job than an overpaid baby sitter.

if you read my post, it was simply a misread of a date (21st and 12th). this is not an indicator of anything bigger.
