Funny, nobody even batted an eyelash when Rolen got 2,000

Wow, I didn't even know he had gotten to 2,000. Rolen is a great player, but I think the difference is just that Pujols was the 12th fastest to 2,000 and will most likely go over 3,000.

I love Rolen. Kind of wish we would have hung on to him for a couple more years but I know LaRussa would have none of it.

Interested in EX-MT or better pre-'56 Cardinals, '53 Bowman Color & '74-'78 Topps.

It's probably because it took him 16 seasons and he doesn't have a chance to get 3000. Where as Pujols has 2000 hits and over 400 hr in only 11 seasons.

Collecting Albert Pujols (all wants are marked in org) and Vintage Cardinals

dont think it will matter how many he hits. he is the next big steriod case for baseball and already shows all the signs of the steriods break down of the body and always being injured. he has la russa and mcgwire in the club house pushing the needle in him. pujols is the next palmero/ mcgwire. he will have over 3,000 hits and 500 hrs but will never see the HOF. dump his cards now while they still have value.

Take your theories elsewhere. I'm offended by that, and I'm a Reds fan
