Ironic connection between jeter/price
Jeter got his 3000 hit off david price at yankee stadium.

In 2008, jeter tied lou gehrig's record for most hits at the stadium against the rays during the mlb debut of david price.

All the Jeter talk......Lets not forget that on this date nine years ago Bud Selig declared the all-star game a tie. Now thats important baseball history. Come on, there are 28 guys with 3,000 hits but how many tie games have there been? Lets also celebrate the time Randy Johnson destroyed a bird with his fastball....But seriously kudos to Jeter, he seems like a classy member of an often-classless organization. Selling half ounces of dirt from the game for 250 bucks apiece? Selling Jeter's dirty socks? Game used baseballs that Jeter probably never even touched for 2000? I guess if people are dumb enough to buy.....

The reason why so many items with jeter are being offered at crazy prices is because there is a big demand.

Him and ripken are the most popular players to reach 3k since the hobby took off and prices reflect it. Add in thw yankee factor and there u go.

Huh?? the poster is talking about Jeter vs. David Price the players, not Jeter vs. the price of his cards....
All in with pocket Aces.... Andre Johnson and Aaron Rodgers.
