Am I alone finding it hilarious

I find those listings funny. But even more hilarious are the Don West sales videos of 1980s cards. Its funny to see him go through something like '87 Topps and here him say things like "Get these while you still can".
Collecting 2010 Bowman, 80s oddball rookies, and '89 Griffeys.
I posted on here not too long ago about a guy from Craig's list that had a vintage collection he was selling. I expected another ad just like you are talking about, 80's and early 90's. As it turns out, it was about 4000 cards from 1952-1961, LOADED with stars, semi-stars, HOF. When he sent me the spreadsheet, I quickly saw I was out of my league, the total BV on it had to be right around $75k. The nice stuff is out there, it is just a VERY small minority....
