I think the Sharks clearly won this trade. Heatley has proven that he can only put up big numbers playing with a very good playmaking center (Spezza, Thornton). Havlat meanwhile, has put up numbers playing with lesser linemates (most of the Wild's forwards)

Heatley disappeared in the playoffs. I was a little worried about him when the Canucks met the Sharks in the WCF, but he did absolutely nothing.
I think the Sharks won on this deal, but who knows, Heatley could turn it on in Minny.
It looks like the Sharks were looking to get rid of Heatley after his poor playoff performance and Minnesota was looking to shake things up by moving one of their higher players.
