RE: Lockout Discussion
Wow dude, just went to NBA.com and it has been stripped. Then went to Pistons.com, and it too was stripped. I figured by Lockout they would simply keep the players from the facilities and such, not stop everything. This better end soon or I'm going to go insane for real. Smile

RE: Lockout Discussion
i second that gotwatchawant, i would hate to see some or all of the season be taken by this. 2 rich sides in a disagreement over money, i know these contracts are necessary, but they shouldnt make the fans suffer, all revenue needs to be put on the table and an agreement go from there.
i would also like to add this just doesnt effect the players and management that make millions a year, you have people that make a living working the concession, parking lots, arena etc. that put food on the table from these jobs, they will not be getting paid!!!!!

RE: Lockout Discussion
there all babies now (the players) i always take the owners' side when it comes to all lock-outs. basketball is not what it used to be, the nba is not what it used to be. they are all overpaid obviously, secondly 90% of the league is heartless. how often do we see fights anymore!?!? for gods sake larry johnson and zo used to be friends with charlotte and they threw down at the garden! its just not the same, every player seems to be friends with each other, no enemies=no rivals=no fun! the game is different, its a show now. bring back the charles oakleys of the game and then maybe the players would deserve something. dont they all have shoe deals anyway!?! these guys get paid already man, the owners are businessmen its just what they do, let them be cheap if they want, they OWN THE DAMN TEAM, its not their fault the league turned in2 a bunch of ****** going around friendly with eachother. i cant side with the players AT ALL, i dont see the differnce in them making 14M every season instead of 16M, when i bust my ***, went to school and only make 32 grand a year. screw all those overpaid babies, they all well built and strong and i bet almost all of em would run from a fight anyway

WATCH THE NCAA AT LEAST ITS REAL BASKETBALL

Mod Edit (XstreamINsanity): PLEASE watch the language. I do not want to see that again. Thank you.

RE: Lockout Discussion
This is what happens when there is a Union. As long as there are unions, there will be strikes. Kinda BS since everyone is not in unions. If I were to go on strike, I wouldn't have a job. I would just be replaced. That is exactly what should happen for the 2011-2012 season. Shoot, have tryouts. There are plenty of able players in the world. It may not be your common household name, but there would be a season. It would be the only way for the players to realize that they are replaceable. After a few years, if it came to that, we would all be used to the new league and have our favorites and what not. Lets play ball!

RE: Lockout Discussion
A lot of players are talking playing in Europe or China
Makes sense if you have a $5,000,000 house and a $27,000 / month
Mortgage payment. We think they don't need the mney, but they are
Living large.

Well, not trying to spur an entirely different conversation, but who's fault is that really? lol.
