BUT...they sure do solicit all the "hits" you'll get in the way of autos on that same box...the very same hits that they assure are in the box are not in there once the redemptions expire.

So they lure an unsuspecting customer in with the promises of "x" amount of hits on the box but fail to make any mention of the expiration dates on that same box.
If you're a fan of the "nothing for something" approach that these companies employ, then continue to wonder why people get so upset.

that's a nice attempt, but ultimately, the boxes are cheaper now that the redemptions have expired, so the customer should bear the burden and risk of getting a redemption because they paid a reduced price for the product. It would seem to me that YOU are the one who wants "something for nothing" by getting a cheaper box and still wanting the good cards whose absence is the very reason for the reduction in price. You can't have it both ways.
