After reading all these Bowman breaks, I bought a blaster and 2 rack packs. Not sure I'm cut out for Bowman. I did pull:

Tim Beckham Auto
Blake Forsythe Blue refractor 211/700
Denard Span green 397/450
Jarred Cosart Orange 240/250
Bowman's Best - Zach Britton and Wil Meyers
Some decent names in chrome...Paul Goldschmidt, Tyler Moore (wrong Washington Prospect, I know!)

Overall, I might need a few more packs to tell if I can get into it. It certainly is a change of pace from collecting vintage stuff. I'd like to think I'm fairly knowledgeable on prospects because of fantasy baseball, but boy does Bowman do prospects...

ya....too many prospects for me. If I want a certain prospect because he comes from FSU or he got drafted by the Braves, I either buy the single or try to trade for him. Other than that, I have no use for Bowman.

Although last year I did pull the Posey Auto in my sig from a retail blaster that I bought because everything else was sold out at our BX. I guess I can't completely hate Bowman...

See, it's the Posey, Strasburg, Harper pulls that keep me thinking, "you know what? I think I've got a shot at this!" I think I'll probably stick to my tired and true sets...throw these in my org and see what happens.

I would say you did quite well Beckham has a lot of talent and the retail Bowman auto's are definitely harder to pull than hobby. Harper is not the only good card in this set. Nice break overall!

Jarred Cosart is the one in the Phillies organization, right? I think Zach Cozart is the one on the Louisville Bats. If it's the one in the Reds org, check me for it

Thanks! Bowman is definately an investor/prospector's set. I admore the patience of Bowman colelctors! I'll probably give it a couple more blasters/rack packs....if anything, they are some spiffy looking cards.

Yeah, he's with the Phillies I believe. I'll check my break for Reds prospects. I put all my chromes and inserts into my org last night. Feel free to check 'em out. I'm still working on entering my stuff, but I think I have other base Dunn's and Reds in there yet.

I think he could be special, especially at such a thin position. Worth keeping an eye on, I think.
