Anybody keeping an eye on royals prospects?
Hey guys i have been watching the royals lately and although the arent doin to, in much fault to their pitching, they've definatley improved from the 110 game losers that they were in the past. A few guys stand out to me, Eric Hosmer (similar swing to Heyward, great power, young talent), Mike Moustakas (solid swing and future utility player unless he explodes) and Bubba Starling who they just drafted.
My question in where are they in the baseball card collecting biz right now? i havent seen much unless ive been overlooking stuff recently at shows. I know buba's cards from team USA are everywhere but id love to pick up a hosmer or Mous auto in an upcomming set sometime. Any idea if they are slated to be in any sets comming up? if not where can i find their cards? Thanks, A new royals fan! |

I have to take offense to the utility player comment . He's a better hitter than that and can hold down 3rd decently. I've got a few Christian Colon auto's (shortstop, maybe future 2nd baseman for the Royals) but I don't have any others. I am actively looking though. Good luck.

Hosmer really doesnt have any cards to my knowledge other than 2nd rate cards from minor league card companies.

Don't forget about Wil Myers! He is another prospect that could be in the show this year!

Look at the master checklists of the recent Bowman release, Pro Debut and the upcoming Bowman Chrome. I had a Bowman's best card of Moose but traded it last week. He is one of the best looking call-ups in the majors now.

Bowman platinum. And I hope for your sake Hosmer isn't similar to Heyward. That guy cannot stay healthy to save his life.

Hosmer had an exclusive contract with Razor for autographs that should expire any time now. I would expect him as an autograph in Bowman Draft.
Also, don't forget about Mike Montgomery. |

RE: Anybody keeping an eye on royals prospects?
Hosmer has some numbered cards and letterman autos from razor.
Check out my blog at http://cccollecting.blogspot.com! I collect Rams, Giants, A's, and Mavs (to a lesser extent). Trade Bait is available through the blog link. |
