Anytime you're dissatisfied with a customer service rep, or in this case, not necessarily the rep, but the info she's been told to relay to you, ask for a supervisor. They "don't keep track"??!? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Ask for one supervisor and if that doesn't work, call during a different shift, ask for the supervisor's supervisor to call you. Send a letter in the mail. We spend enough money on this stuff to deserve a little assistance on all these variations they produce! I'm mad now! Grrr! HA!

I remember when I was in fourth grade, my cousin and I discovered what we thought was an error of some sort on an '89 Pro Set card. My mom tracked down the company's phone number and called them. We thought we were going to be some sort of heroes for our discovery. Well, they didn't really seem to care, and by then there were already a ton of errors and corrected versions in that set and they'd probably given up on caring for the year. However, the lady asked for both of our names and addresses, and less than two weeks later we each got a package in the mail that included t-shirts, the '89 Pro Set factory sealed supplemental set which had just been released that week in stores, and some promo cards from their upcoming hockey set. Also had a very nice letter from the company saying that we were to receive future mailings of all promotional cards and things of that sort. And we did! Right up until the company went out of business we got promos from every horrible decision of a set that company produced!

I'll start calling Topps if you don't want to! =)

well at least their service seemed half way decent lol

I am still skeptical and unsatisfied gosh darnit! He said "an error on Topps part"??! So someone accidentally stuck a Brett Favre auto sticker on a card from an insert set that didn't have any other autos in it? They placed it perfectly (as if done by a machine, as I'm assuming the stickers are placed?)? I think he just doesn't want to bother with it or doesnt really care.

That card is not real. I opened more of that product than I care to mention and there was never a Golden Nuggets auto set. People are VERY GOOD at pulling a sticker off one card, rubbing the current auto off of it and then forging someone elses auto.

I hope you don't own that card...
