10 Packs 2010 Classics & 1 box 1999 Metal Universe
All are for trade....

I went to trade night at the LCS last night. I really wanted a box of 2010 classics but they didn't have one so I settled for some packs instead. They also had some clearance retail boxes from the late 90's. So I grabbed up a box of Metal Universe for $20.
First the hits and SN from Classics.

The Brees and Cribbs are #d to 100
The McCoy to 999 and the Gronk to 499

I also pulled the following inserts. Classic Triples # 3 (Wayne Chrebet/Keyshawn Johnson/Curtis Martin)
Classic Combos # 1 Jim Kelly / Bruce Smith
Cowboys 50th Anniversary team #'s 19 & 20 Lee Roy Jordan & Chuck Howley

I really freaking enjoyed opening the Metal Universe though I didn't pull any autos.
Check my org if you are interested in what base I pulled (they are in the 90's cards folder)

Here are the inserts and such that I pulled. I dig the look of the Planet Metal subset.

where did you get the '99 Metal? I'm looking for '98 Metal and haven't seen a hobby box in a while that wasn't listed crazy high.

I loved a lot of the late 1990s stuff (Metal, SPx, Upper Deck, etc.). They always had such cool inserts. They don't book for squat and nobody wants them now that GUd and auto stuff has filled the market. But they're really cool to look at and a nice addition for my Cowboys PC if I find some.

Good pulls. Love the Ricky Williams in the Horns uniform. Great college RB, awefully bad NFL back. Got some crazy ideas when he graduated.

Of course, I see the comment came from a horned frog fan. That explains everything... Tongue
