No thats not it, this was my first box of something expensive and I didn't know what I had and I had this jack*** tell me that my cards weren't worth anything so I believed him

Now that I look at it and see that they weren't bad from the beginning, I retract my statement as being a horrible box

Who is to tell you what is a bad box when it is yours? But nonetheless, everyone knows a Crosby GU is good. I don't see how you believed that.

I know, im a newbie when it comes to expensive products and yeah nickthekid87 already made me a deal for it so im pretty happy

That is a better break than almost any box I have ever bought for under $150. Maybe you didn't come out shinning but you came out really good dude. Crosby GU cards are typically hard to get and sell good too. Most of the time with guaranteed boxes the auto or GU pulled is a $5 piece of crap.

Dude at the cards shop told you that for 1 of 3 reasons. 1-He knows nothing himself(that does happen in LCS) 2-He probably wanted to try and talk you into another box that would be "much better" or 3-This is most likely, he wanted to buy the card off you for pennies and win 2 times on your expense. I have had many LCS dealer tell me what my cards are worth,with me knowing their wrong, but then all of theirs are seem to book much higher than the book actually says. I actually had one dealer tell me about a card that mine was only worth $20 when it booked for $80 but then when I asked why the one he had was listed to sell at $70 he explained to me that his was worth more in BV cause it had a Blue swatch instead of a yellow like mine, and yellow is the rarer color.

Some people get creative and lie to profit in this business.

Yeah this guy said he would buy the kopitar auto for $5 and would buy the crosby gu for $7 and the butler for $3 then he tried to get me to buy the last box of Limited.

The guy was a jerk big time!
