Need advice from experienced sellers
Towards the end of selling off a my collection and have about a 1000 or so inserts, parallel, sp, and #'d lot I am going to sell eventually. Is it better to just sell the whole 1000 cards as a lot or break it into teams and then sell? Any help or other suggestions will be appreciated.

RE: Need advice from experienced sellers
I would say to break them into teams, but that's so time consuming and if you only get $1 or $2 for each team lot, it's not going to be worth it because you have to list each card individually in the description and that takes a long time.
I took about 150-200 that booked between 50 cents and $10 and sold them for $1 each. I listed each one individually on a thread on here and a bunch of them moved. Again, that was very time consuming, but I moved a bunch of stuff and made a little money as well. Plus, right now, you don't have to go through the system to sell. Just a thought. Let me know what you decide because I'd be interested in all Texas Rangers cards. Tyrell Jenkins Collection: Have 30/37 Non 1-1s http://s1002.photobucket.com/user/hdnguy...t=6&page=0

RE: Need advice from experienced sellers
1) Pull out the ones that book for $10 or more; sell those as singles.
2) Any player lots you can assemble that book for $10 or more collectively, sell as player lots. 3) Throw all the rest together. After subtracting out shipping, I don't think you'll net any more incrementally by making team lots. JMO. That's how I'd do it. |
