Thanks, a9a! Now I just have to get a display case for it. It is too dusty around here to not encase it for display. I really do want to be able to look at it w/out having to take it out of the box every time. I've always wanted a 1:24th scale car, but never had the money for one. I got a great deal on this one and had the money, so I jumped on it!

I didnt think I would get into them all that much but once I got one I was hooked and couldnt stop, lol.
Now I have about 30 and Im in the process of building a big case.
Heres a nice case I found for ya thats pretty low priced....these are what I used till I had too many.
The cool thing is you can stack them till you end up with my disease, lol

Yeah, I'm with thegreat48, I have close to 200 Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson cars with a few others mixed in. Before getting divorce (and losing my house to the ex) I had built my own case around the perimeter of the basement. It came off the wall about 8" and I covered the bottom of it with rubber and painted it like a track, had the cars sitting on an angle and then made a plexi-glass cover to protect them all. After I was all done, I realized you couldn't see the cars real great, so I then added a bunch of little lights on the inside to look like the inside of the track lighting.

Adam, Sweet Car. I think I know where you got that one. Yeah, buying the first one just makes you want to buy more. Kelly and I had to force ourselves to not buy any more and we stopped at 5 cars. As soon as I go back to work, we will start buying one, once a month. It is either a car or three boxes of cards....HUMMMMMM

Thanks, and yeah you probably know WHO I got it from. I would prefer cards to cars (they take up less space), but I had to get at least 1 large die-cast. I have a few of the 1:64's hanging on a wall in my bedroom, also.

Adam, I have 11 1:64's of Johnson on our NASCAR Wall. The wife has 17 of them of Martin and Kenseth. We collected a few from each race we went to in the last 3 years. We are hoping to pick up two or three more in November at PIR.
As for the 1:24's, well you are right, they do take up more room than cards, But they are so sweet looking sitting on the shelf.
