What's the difference between the 1986 Topps and the 1986 Topps Tiffany? I have a trade offer on my Topps Diamond Card giveaway acct and I'm trying to figure out if the card I'm being offered is a Tiffany or not.

The card in question is a 1986 Topps A's Team Leaders #216. When I click on the card it's described as: "Team Leaders Card - Special Card - Oakland Athletics"

Btw, they are offering it for my 1978 Topps Jim Fregosi #323 if the Team Leaders card is a Tiffany is this a solid trade? Thanks for any help you guys can provide.


Also, do you guys have any strategies for trading the cards you've redeemed?

Tiffany cards have a glossy finish to them and only so many were made thus more $$. I believe the backs are a little lighter in color but i could be wrong on that.

Ok, thanks Muz. Is the "special card" in the description on my TDG acct because its a Tiffany or because its a team card?

It would specifically say Tiffany. For example:

1986 Topps Tiffany #216 A's Leaders

As opposed to:

1986 Topps #216 A's Leaders

I have a 1984 Yankees Team Card from the diamond giveaway and it does not say "special card", if that helps you at all. I don't know what they are referring to, but it isn't just because it's a team card.
