1 Box SPA, 2 Boxes SPx (Edit: Ranging From Flame-broiled to Crispy)
Wow, if only I'd listened to Adam (and pretty much everyone else). I don't know how I got talked into a box of SPA at the LCS even with the little voice in my head screaming: "stay away from 10-11 SP Authentic!" Actually, I do know how it happened: I was getting a big head from the respectable first box of SPx so before I knew it I found myself diving into a box of SPA:

Yeah, I was put in my place. I'm pretty sure that if we were able to meet up today as I'd hoped, FireManZack would've tackled me long before I was in striking distance of Authentic. But alas I was left to my own devices. Maybe the Subban's not so bad?

Unsatiated, I returned to SPx hoping to have a little more fun...

A nice PC card or a coveted RC would've been ideal but it wasn't to be.

In retrospect, I should've stopped after my first box (how many times have I said that) of SPx, while I was still ahead (read: not impossibly far behind)...

The first SPx box was the most fun to open because I pulled my first Roy, my first Crosby, and my first Yzerman.

Oh, I shouldn't forget the small fries...

Casey Wellman, Maxime Fortunus, Henrik Karlsson
Robin Lerner, Jarri Kurri, Justin Mercier
Tony Esposito, Dustin Penner
Ilya Bryzgalov, Brandon Dubinsky

All in all, if I'd only done the two SPx's, I think I would've enjoyed the breaks more. Ah, you live and you learn. : )

Thanks for the look!

What the heck is wrong with a Subban Sott? I opened 21 boxes and your was probably better than about 8 of them. The Subban sells between 60-70...You seriously think that's a "bad" box? The Adam will bring 10 bucks as well. I have had boxes (as have a lot of other members here) that only brought about 15 bucks back total.

Collecting Kobe, Mets and Patriots.

Not a terrible break overall, but true, you didn't get anything that would justify what you spent on it. Happened to me a lot this year, but I've hit some huge stuff out of nowhere, so it's all in the roll of the dice. That said, I'm really interested in the Yzerman WM patch and Crosby WM jersey. Let me know if there's anything we can do for those, I know we've tried to work out a trade before.

Yeah, I'm a bit embarrassed...it wasn't a "bad" box at all. You have to consider the fact that I have no idea whatsoever what I'm talking about. I didn't see any Sharks, didn't see any PC players, didn't see any RCs I recognized and I was disappointed.

It's been awhile between breaks so yeah I wasn't sure how to react. Thanks for dropping by.

Yes mother, I kn*wait, I've read and reread this post and I can't find it. Where's the flame?!?

Ok guys I was a little hasty in trying to make an entertaining box break post and I realize now that it came off as a tad whiny. Maybe I got a little carried away with the grumbling but wow, the last time I got flamed like this was the next time I find myself standing in Hades, lol.

Thanks to all...I think.

P.S. I'll get to the trading replies - just gimme some time.
P.P.S. I'll just post pictures next time...no words!
