So I got my envelope from topps today for the 15 boxes of topps chrome wrappers I mailed in. The first thing in the envelope is a piece of paper that basically says: we ran out of topps chrome redemption packs so we are giving you bowman chrome instead...I am not impressed. I got 12 packs that had exactly the same cards in them. The only difference in the other 3 packs is that each one had a good player base in them, 1 starlin, 1 strasburg, 1 chapman. Topps just keeps knockin me down and down, spent over ten grand in the last year and got pretty much nothing...

That's always dissappointing to get something different than what you expected, but arent the Bowman Chrome packs worth quite a bit more?

how long did it take to get your packs? i sent some wrapper a couple weeks ago.

I think the Topps chrome deadline was in March. Did you get it in by then?

The deadline for both is in june or july the same day i believe. It took me a week or so to get the packs back. I am not sure if the bowmans are worth any more, but was hoping i had good odds of getting one of the stras or heyward autos in the topps chrome redemption packs.

I sent in one set of Topps Chrome wrappers and I just got regular bowman cards back i believe a total of 12 cards not even chrome. Highlight was a reg stras rookie

Go to the topps website for their address and what you need to send with those wrappers.

My LCS gave me a pack of from the bowman chrome wrapper redemption and it had Bowman black boarder (not chrome), and all off the guys had been in the league for four years or more.
I sent in my case of wrappers anyway, but after seeing your post I don't have much hope of getting much of anything.

sorry to bum you out before you get yours in the mail. i was just really upset at the time and thought the packs were gonna cheer me up and they didnt. i almost threw them in the trash! maybe i sucked up all the bad packs with my crappy luck and you will get a few autos!

Here's a situation... what if you were shorted an auto in a topps or Bowman product. Do you send you wrappers to get the auto(s) you should have gotten in the box(es) or do you send them in for the redemptions? You SHOULD have the opportunity to get both... right?
