Yes I try not to complain too much when breaking boxes, but that was definitely an oh wow, to WTF is this moment. I opened it up at the card shop and I always slide the hit to the back of the base cards. I showed the back to the owner and he was like, man you are going to love this one. Kept sliding the base card down and saw Jones and Titanic patch and was like this is going to be epic, well not quite the epic (although Titanic is a suitable name) I was hoping for. Oh well, I guess it is still better than an Angel Pagan auto.

I can say that if I ever trade that card, I will never delete the image in case it winds up in the hands of a patch faker.

Thanks again for the trade. Read your thread about being a little overwhelmed right now, and I think we have all been in that position. Good luck to you though and I hope that after catching up you will be back to trading and showing your pulls (but keep away from that retail!)

I have the gold base incoming and should be getting a super (wink) mail day soon. Also found a red ref. and hopefully will be able to work something out for that.

My number one collecting focus at this moment are the Alex Dickerson EEE cards. I have a few of the lower end ones incoming, but will be trading way far in your favor if anyone wants to part with some of the autos.

But really the last few trades I've just been picking up base cards for some of my childhood sets and more modern sets. If you see something you like, don't be shy and send an offer. (but at the same time let's be a little realistic, not trading 1/1s or HOF autos for any amount of 1990 Topps .
