I just saw this card sell on ebay for 850, it was graded at an 8, this looks like and 8 or maybe 9, perfect corners, color and the centering is just about perfect, maybe 90% centered, just over a bit to the right. I bought this from a neighbor selling stuff and he had a huge tote box in his garage with all basketball from the 90's a few from the 80's several Kobe rookies, but they aren't worth near as much as this. I will have to add the other basketball cards soon in my organize, just wanted to get your attention with this beauty! for trade.

Where did you see one go for 850? I've never seen one go anywhere near that...and ungraded you might get 100 tops...if we are taking about the same card....the blue boarded one

Yeah, it blew me away..I was trying to sell it in an antique store for like 20 bucks and I thought I might take some of my strange cards and check ebay to see if they are selling hotter or low...well anyways, I saw one go for 350 and another that was graded as authentic and an 8 by Beckett...so I think I have to send it in to Beckett to make sure it is the real deal....if it comes back real at an 8 or maybe higher, man I got lucky that day I bought it. My neighbor was just selling his stuff to raise money from the bad economy and din't really want to sell his cards...so after a month he had me look at the cards and I gave him 200 bucks for the value of all the cards were about that...just trying to be good to a neighbor in need...well that one card will make my good deed payoff once I get it graded. I didn't think it was valuable...I thought the Kobe rookies and some older Shaq. stuff etc and many other rookies all in great condition may be worth more, but this is for sure one of my most valuable cards if it is the real deal...I have heard this card is one of those that is made into fakes a lot...one of my store owner buddies looked at the ink with his eyeglass and said it looked good, but I want to get the grading by Beckett and find out. Did you see one SELL for 850 or one that was LISTED for 850? Because this card won't SELL for anything near 850!?!? Ungraded they go for around $80-$90. A BGS 9 JORDAN only sold for $450!!! And its worth 4 times what the Ewing is!!!!!

you guys, this is not his real rookie card...it is the star rookie reprint...that is very very scarce...and so scarce that many fakes have been made. so when it is real and in good condition it goes high...I saw the bidding, it was not buy it for as a listed price, the buy it as listed prices were the 350 ones and they were ungraded, the graded at an 8 is the one they were bidding on and I followed it and it went for 850. honestly, I need to send it into beckett, because I have been told by 1 store its a fake, and another said the ink looks good and that it looks good. the guy that said it looked good was using one of those coin eyeglass peices to inspect it. the one who said it was fake just looked at it like you and I am with our eyes, I can't tell, look at the photo on my photobucket and let me know if you think it may be fake or real, only way for me to tell is send it in.

Unless you saw one sell for 850 like 6 years ago when the economy wasn't in a recession! But it will certainly not fetch 850 these days!
