Bug *****Rookies & Stars Buying Question
What is better 2011 Rookies & Stars 36 pack retail box or 2011 Rookies & Stars 24 pack Retail Box. The 24 pack one has a GU in every box and guaranteed inserts. The 36 pack box is a gamble I guess.

How many GUs/AUs is the 36 pack box likely to have?

The card shop guy said 3 Mems and 1 Auto. I know that can't be right, because that's what the hobby box has and this one is 1/3 the price of the hobby box.

Please help me decide.
bump.....

RE: *****Rookies & Stars Buying Question
If the owner of the card shop told you the 36 pack retail box had 3 autos and 1 game used then I would find a different card shop lol

Want: Dwight Howard Autos, Patches & RC Refractors, RC Autos of Cousins, Greg Monroe, Derozan, Harden, Jrue Holiday, any other STAR Autos!

RE: *****Rookies & Stars Buying Question
Not many where I live, but would I get a GU in the 36 pack box?

What are the odds?

RE: *****Rookies & Stars Buying Question
Hes full of **** then! I bought a 48 pack retail box of Panini last year and pulled one garbage auto! Not saying they are all like this but there is no way a retail box will have as many hits as a hobby box! Maybe there is 1 or 2 out there that do but odds are you might pull 1 game used out of the box!
If you are really trying for autos and game used then NEVER buy retail!

Thanks...

Both boxes are $25ea where the hobby box is like $75.

I think the price difference is huge considering you get less cards in the hobby (24/5) where these boxes are 36/10 or 24/10 I think.

I generally am happy with inserts and RCs, but it would be nice to get a couple GU if possible. So if you are saying I'm probably gonna get 1 or 2 GU from the 36 pack box, I should get that over the 24 pack box right?
