I understand that now, however that wasn't my main point. Open up a trade with me and look at my cards I have to offer. I bet you'll see that I have 133 cards FT. It should have ZERO cards coming up for trade because I have not made anything in my ORG marked as public. ![]() CARD COUNT: (Met cards - 12129) (Piazza - 1435) (Wright - 529) |

However, like I said, I have to hear from Beckett whether or not they are going to leave it that way (as if it were intended) or if that's something that needs to be fixed. MODERATORTOS-Read it

They even have it to where we can select multiple attributes, players, etc. They added in the Total Cards and Total Value today, and they are working on getting us the Wants asap. And Search now does AND statements, not OR statements. The fact that they added some crucial features within a couple of days of releasing the initial trade feature proves my point. What was the advantage of releasing it a few days earlier without those features, since they had not promised us it was going to be up then anyway? If they knew what they were doing and what needed to be in the trade feature by either looking at the old site or making out some simple use cases with the help of an actual collector, they would have known how important those features were and could have delayed release by a couple of days to get them in. If they do that, then people would be posting how thankful they are for the trade feature rather than how disappointed they are. They continually make things worse for themselves (and the rest of us) by repeating these mistakes. Even if they had simply gotten you or one of the other mods to do a walkthrough with them via WebEx or something, you could have told them in a few minutes what was missing and what people would complain about. I'm sure you wouldn't have minded spending a little time with them to make the site better and avoid having to respond to all the questions and complaints on the forums. Having said all that, I am glad that they got the trade system to a usable point, since that has been the biggest missing piece. As a programmer, I can definitely say that it doesn't always go as planned. You can have something working perfectly fine in dev. Then it works perfectly fine in Test. Someone accidentally forgets to check in a file to production, and then some things are missing. The fact that they got it up in just a few days kind of shows that it wasn't something they had missed per se, just something that wasn't there from the get go. They are still working on sort in the whole system, so that's kind of ok that sort doesn't fully work in trade (though I can't wait for it to work). Believe me, they don't want things to go as they have, they want everyone to be in aww of what they're doing, it just hasn't gone how we all, them included, wanted it to. Good thing is, we're almost there.

RE: Trade Issues
I love how my wants in a person's organize are marked with a yellow star. However, I would love it even more if I could sort the description column to bring up only the starred items to the top of the list, so that I don't have to go through 20 pages of cards in order to pick a few out for trading.
Also, why are the other person's "wants" not highlighted somehow during a trade? |

They're working on trying to get wants to sort as the next step. If you have another person's wants marked for trade, they should also show with a star when you search your items to add to the trade. You also have to remember, not everyone on here takes the time to put in what they want. They put what they have, then they check buckets and items to see if they want something else. A lot of people, that I've seen, will trade a card for a better card, just because. It's not like they specifically want a set, player, team, etc. Therefore, if they don't have any cards marked as a want, you won't be able to see what they want. If you have an example of an item someone put as a want in their Organize, you have it, and it's not showing up that way, let me know. Thanks. MODERATORTOS-Read it

RE: Trade Issues
Just so I don't have to to re-enter everything twice. Could you clear this up for me.
If I have 4 copies of a card for trade my organize should read Haves 4, Trade 4 or Haves 0, Trade 4 or Haves 4, Trade 1 And also, about the auto fill solution, I can't just select the whole collection and fill with a 1 if I have multiple copies of each cards, 1,5,3,4,5 etc. Is there any way to copy the Have into the Trade. (assuming they need to be the same). RE: Trade Issues
It appears that:
Haves 0, Trade 4 works just fine. I just tested it on a pending trade. I took a card I have for trade, zeroed out the Haves column, and was able to add it to the trade. However, I'm not sure how the shipping part goes because before it wouldn't let you ship if Haves was 0. However, a previous trade that was accepted already 0'd out my haves. So, I'd say for now go with Haves 0, Trade 4. Also, in terms of copying Haves to Trade, if you need to: Do an Advanced Search for Haves equal X (X being the number) and Trade equal 1 Show 500 per page Fill page Rinse and repeat, changing X to new numbers. Hope that helps. MODERATORTOS-Read it
