Please ensure that any cards for trade are marked as such in your organize and that you are using the system to make trades.

That means the trade system is now required again. Of course we will be reminding people verbally for the time being ... but failure to heed those reminders will result in official warnings and/or suspensions.

There seem to be a lot of tweaks to work out yet - feel free to post any issues here. We are working with the Beckett people right now to post some of the issues we're finding. A couple issues I've found:

1. Speed of loading items for trade is slow (seems to get better the more you use trade)
2. Items I have marked as wants are showing up as available for trade. Solution - change quantity in "trade" box to "0" for all wants
3. Wants aren't noted or sorting to the top. Fixed - Wants are now noted with a star icon by the description, but can't be sorted to top.
4. Sort by description is not in order
5. Sort by Conditional value is not working
6. Multi word searches result in "any" search, not "all" search (ie - searching for Kurt Warner, yields results including Kurt Stillwell & Kurt Suzuki). Note that you can use quotation marks to note search terms (ie - search for "Kurt Warner" eliminates non-Warner Kurts in search results) Fixed by Beckett 4/28
7. No total Book Value of all cards in trade Fixed by Beckett 4/28
8. Suggestion: allow a custom reason for canceling trade.
9. Cards you trade for create duplicate entries in "Recently Traded" folder, instead of incrementing entries already in your organize.
10. Trade screen does not reset to P.1 of search results when you do a second search.
11. Trade details and trade invoice aren't 'locking' once a trade is accepted. If one party deletes items out of organize after trade is accepted, they disappear from trade/invoice as well.
12. Some users with OPG subscriptions see "Buy Pricing" for cards on the trade screen.
13. Quantities in org are not updated if the condition of your 'want' doesn't match the condition of the card you trade for.
14. Cards in non-public collections are showing up for trade (may be intentional?)
15. Suggestion: allow users to receive PM's when there are trade notifications or have the trade tab change colors to note new trade notifications.

I would please ask no general whining/complaining, but if you have specific issues or constructive criticism to please let us know and I will forward it to Beckett.

Edit: for the time being sales are still being handled the 'old fashioned way'. The module for users to pay their selling fees has not been completed yet. However, it will be done 'shortly.' I would strongly advise people to get your cards loaded into your organize NOW so that you're ready to go once it comes online as well.

Edit #2: Matchmaker is not yet operational...but each card page now has a new box titled "C2C Trade" - which shows all users who have that card marked as a "Have" and/or a "Want".

Not yet, but that is something I will work on.

I had one on the old site - and I think I saved it...I'll see if I can update it for the new site.

The search by team on the left is really nice -it doesn't match up your wants, but at least you can see what someone has.

Just sent my first trade offer. It seemed to go smoothly, no loading time issues for me on that one. Once they get the filtering of wants up it should be as good as the previous version. On a different note, I'm still having major difficulty with my Organize. The data is all screwy, the card description almost never loads, it's either black or it has the text 'photo not available'
