Yeah. I try to limit all my buying and selling to what's on the card. Sometimes I stick to it, sometimes I can't help myself but dip into the bank. Like when that Heyward/McCann/Murphy triple auto came up a few weeks ago.

I've already got the card listed on ebay. Looks like the market is setting the price as there are 2 others on there right now at very similar prices. Very affordable so far, in my opinion.

RE: Another Great Tribute Box
WOW. that Koufax auto is a thing of beauty.
Congrats, and thanks for sharing that!

Also, can you tell me more about your paypal debit? I.e., how does that work for you? I'm always looking for new ways to limit my spending without making myself feel like I'm on too short of a leash. I just bought 2 boxes of Tristar Obak today because I was itching for a retro product but didn't want to pay Gypsy Queen prices. Could've been worse, but I don't want to get into the impulse buying spiral.

Interested in key RCs, A&G Subsets, 2009 Goudey, Goodwin Champs & various historical inserts. Working on 2001 UD Cooperstown Calling: 11/21

If I recall, if you have an account, all you have to do is request a card. It has a PIN, works just like any other debit card. I think I get cash back for purchases made with the card, but I'm not sure. I don't have any credit cards, only my bank cards and my PayPal card. I use it to pay for all my shipping costs like purchasing mailers and mailing international and buying stamps for TTMs (stuff I have to go to the post office for). If I'm at a store and have the itch to buy something, I check my PayPal balance on my phone and use my card to pay for it. If I don't have the money on the account, no cards. Keeps track of my purchases and sales in a very simplistic way. (I sound like I work for Paypal or something.) (Hey Paypal! You hiring?)

haha - thanks for explaining that! It sounds a little complicated but totally effective. If I ever get into the high end stuff I will most definitely keep this in mind.

RE: Another Great Tribute Box
I got lucky at my LCS when the Tribute came out, they were $325 after my discount...now they're $415. I pulled a bunch of good stuff out of there though (Ichiro patch /24, Hank Aaron auto/bat /75, Hamilton auto/jersey 1/1, Gehrig dual jersey /99, Ripken printing plate 1/1, Howard/Utley/Victorino triple auto, Smith/Ramirez/Castro triple auto, 2 Posey auto/bat /99, and a bunch of other nice autos - Banks, Sandberg, Sabathia, Cepeda, Rice, etc.) Much better than last years version of Tribute for sure.
