Question on trade boxes

Question on trade boxes
Can someone help me? On the old site you had a check box to mark for trade purposes. Now you can put a quantity in the box.

If I have a card in my PC but have three extras then what should put in the trade box? I am guessing a 3.

If I need a card for my PC what do I put in the check box. I am assuming a 1.

Does the system know the difference between needing one and having an extra one?

Please help! I want to be ready when the trade feature is up.

Looking for Carolina Panthers & Sterling Marlin!

RE: Question on trade boxes
If you have 4 of the same cards, 1 for your PC and then 3 that you are willing to trade or sell, here is what I would advise:
Haves = 4
Wants = 0
Keep = 1
Trade = 3
Sell = 3
This would mean that you want to keep one of the cards for your PC, but would be willing to trade or sell the remaining three.
Alternatively, you could create a duplicate entry for the card. For your card in your PC, it would be:
Haves = 1
Wants = 0
Keep = 1
Trade = 0
Sell = 0
For the cards that you want to trade/sell:
Haves = 3
Wants = 0
Keep = 0
Trade = 3
Sell = 3
You use the icon that looks like spinning double arrows (standard refresh icon) on the right hand side of the card listing to duplicate the card.
Also worth mentioning that the cards you want to trade must be added to a public collection.

Ok I believe it works like this.
Have - How many of the card you actually have
Want- Cards you want to trade for
Trade- Cards you are willing to trade to people.

I'll give an example
Card A - Have -1, Want-0, Trade-0
Card B - Have -3, Want-0, Trade-1
Card C - Have -0, Want-1, Trade-0
So Card A is just you have 1 of it and thats it.
Card B you have 3 of, and are willing to trade 1. When the trade happens i believe the Have will auto decrease to 2 and the Trade will go to 0.

So for Card C, you don't own it, and you trade for it since people know you want it. then after the trade the Have should go to 1, and want to 0.

I am pretty sure that is how it works.

I don't get the purpose of the "keep" column. It just seems kind of redundant to me.

If I have 2 cards and want to trade 1 of them it should just be:

Have = 2
Trade = 1

Isn't it obvious that I'm only willing to trade one of the cards if that is the quantity I put in the trade column? What's the purpose of the keep column?

In the past if you wanted a card you had to mark it for trade, so your trade column had to be "checked" or in the new set up, "an amount needs to be entered".

That's how I understand it works.
