Just picked up the following 1959 Topps Willie Mays and in my opinion, its in pretty good condition, but im not a grader. Giving the value is so much higher if graded well, would you get it graded, and if so, what is your opinion on its grade (guess)

I'm not a grader either but you could get better opinions if the card was scaned flat and only in a sleeve or raw so that there is as little glare and mishape as possible.

well, obviously the picture is hard to tell, but the bottom right corner on the front is rounded/frayed and would definitely keep it from being NM. I'm guessing a 6 based only on what I can see in the picture.

What I find the most curious is why did willie change his signature to something that does not resemble willie mays? But I agree with Radarblip... Flat scan would help out... Any way, a vintage mays... get it graded..

Based on what I can see, a 4-5. I'd grade it if it was for my PC, if for anything, for preservation and display.

Interested in EX-MT or better pre-'56 Cardinals, '53 Bowman Color & '74-'78 Topps.

I agree with Beatles on the grade range. I would do it to keep it, especially with that great color to it.
