RE: what's the easiest way to crack out graded BGS cards?
I used a pair of tin snips to snip off the top right corner of the slab, or even to just crack off a piece. Then take a slender flat head screw driver tip and slide it up in between the top and bottom slab wiggling back and forth a bit, around the slab itself. Eventually, you'll be able to get a good deal of the screwdriver inside the slab, and I just pried up using the area up top that the label sits in as my point of leverage and just popped it apart.
It's extremely easy to do, just don't get in a hurry and send your screwdriver going straight through your card though! lol Collecting Tommy Z and ND Alums! ![]() My Bucket: http://s894.photobucket.com/albums/ac145...orner2009/ |

Tin snips as in any form of heavy duty cutting utensils. All you need to do is cut off the corner lol

You can also use a knife. Put the holder upside down, put the knife between where the cases meet, push down and pry out. Do the top first and then the sides (you shouldn't have to do the bottom). Then just pry apart.

Cut the corner closest to the label. Then once you can fit a flat head screwdriver into the label, pry the top open. Once you got enough of it opened, you can then use your hand to rip the rest open.
I have a very rare michael jordan card signed by john salley!!! |

Otherwise, what I've broken out of a slab I'm sure probably not too many, if any other people at all would deem it expensive enough or worthy of being graded.
