Grabner leads all rookies in goals - and short handed goals too. He's also one of the 3 fastest players in the NHL, (possibly 31 too). Unfortunately, he won't even get a Calder nomination thanks to the team he plays for, not to mention the "boycott" from all the NY Sports Writers Chapter because of the Isles removing the media credentials of the only person who covers the team. Sigh. Only the Isles would screw up something like this!
Cardboard-wise, while this year's rookie class was surprisingly good, Marchand, Grabner, Reimer & Couture's RCs were all from last year or the year before. This year's RCs will still have some good players but imagine if all these guys were in 1 year's series! |
