topps vs topps tiffany
1987 topps Barry Bonds #320 value $8.00 and the 1987 topps tiffany Barry Bonds #320 value $20.00. On the picture they are identical.

Whats the differance?

RE: topps vs topps tiffany
The tiffany is glossy. These 792 standard-size cards were a parallel to the regular Topps issue. These cards feature "glossy" fronts and easy to read backs. These cards are in the same style as the regular Topps issue. This set was printed in Ireland and was issued only in factory set form. Unlike previous years, a significantly higher amount of these cards were produced. Therefore, the values of these cards are a much lower mulitplier to the regular cards than previous years. It is believed that as many as 30,000 of these sets were produced. This increase was probably in response to increased dealer interest

Currently collecting A-Rod, Jeter, Cano, Mauer and Trout. I tend to be a fast shipper, work across the street from our post office.

The Topps Tiffany has a Glossy finish on it. Whereas the Regular Topps doesn't.

RE: topps vs topps tiffany
Here's a picture of the bonds Topps tiffany. The backs are the easiest way to tell the difference. Like it was stated in the above post it's easier to read and significantly lighter card stock than the regular Topps set.

RE: topps vs topps tiffany
Isn't this question one of the reasons we have searchable boards now?

Looking for Ryne Sandberg, Micah Gibbs, and Cubs Topps commons.
Now using paypal shipping so everyone will get a DC number and no more trips to P.O.!
