Two box Heritage Break
The first box was an error box. Every single pack had a green refractor. They are supposed to fall 1:108 packs. In fact, when I opened the second box and wasn't getting any, I assumed at first the second box was the error box. It was until I looked at the odds on the back that I saw how much I had lucked out on the first. Several other boxes have been opened from that case and mine was the only one with any green refractors. The relics were Thome and Reyes jerseys. I pulled one black refractor /62, Alexei Ramirez. No other notable chrome cards.

You lucky SOB, lol

I would be interested in the Hanson if the Green are #'ed

Also did you pull any Braves RC's (such as Freeman or Beachy) or SP's (such as Prado) or inserts (I've seen a Spahn Flashbacks)

I think the cards that are 1:108 are base green tint cards, not chrome refractors. I know that I've seen several posts about the green chrome refractor boxes. I don't know what the pull ratio is on those. No doubt they are a tough pull, since they only seem to come in these hot boxes and then when they come they are in every pack. But then again I have read about some people pulling these refractors out of retail too. I think the 1:108 ratio just applies to the non-chrome green tints though. It would be interesting to find out what the deal is with these green chrome cards.

RE: Two box Heritage Break
I'm sorry, but be prepared for your bubble to busted a little bit.

What you have are in fact the green refractors. One box out of a 12 box case has a green refractor in every pack. These are called hot boxes. This is the only way to pull the green refractors.

What you stated as being odds of 1:108 are what are called "Green Tints". These are base cards that have, you guessed it, a green tint to them. They ARE NOT refractor cards.

You can't link to other boards here, but if you google Collectors Universe Topps Heritage 2011, there is a very detailed thread about all of the SPs from this year there.

So to recap you get 24 green refractors per case (all in one box) and they are numberd in the C1-C100 fashion. I believe this makes them rarer than the base chrome /1962, but not as rare as a chorme ref /562.
You only get 1-2 of the Green Tints per case, their numbers match with the base card numbers.

So cool that you got a hot box, but you might want to be careful with the terminology/odds you are using if you are trading/selling.

RE: Two box Heritage Break
Thanks for the heads up guys...corrected my auction, still got $55 for them. Another two guys I know have pulled two more from separate cases. I DID pull a red auto /62 today of some guy I had never heard of, my first red out of probably 3 dozen boxes of heritage over the past 5 years or so.

Collecting Kobe, Mets and Patriots.
