RE: So when is enough...enough to stop spending $ on the PC?
im more of a player collector too, i have about 10 players i go for, and i rotate which ones i go for more aggressively at the moment. I aquired alot of longoria autos, so now i'm going for braun, although still lookng for longoria at the same time. Plus i started trying to build sets out of the breaks i have. And i decided to chase a really challenging set in the 2010 topps update bat barrels (plz pm me if you have some)...and im also gonna try my hand at a hof pc. All those things right there cdn't be accomplished if i spent 20 hrs a day doing this for a long time, so it will never be enough.

I just got back into it after 15 years of idling and i am now 31. Although i'm not a die hard collector, i enjoy putting together sets. I think when i turn the rip ol age of 65, i may stop collecting and start selling off my stuff for vacations to the moon.. Or planet 29x-r..or maybe a new robotic droid to implant my brain in so i can live forever muahahaha.. Oh wait... We don't have flying cars yet.. Fffff..
In short, i think everyone has their limit at some point in time.. Some will hand em down to their childreen, others will sell everything and move on.. Or if you have a mantle rookie, take it to your grave. To be buried with your favorite rare cards is truly bliss. haha Always on the lookout for pre '85 cards. |

I have no limit. There is no way I could ever get every card I want. Always something new coming out that I would have to have.
