RE: FINALLY!
Sorry, but some of us MMA guys don't care for boxing, or a lot of boxing fans, because of the lack of respect that MMA gets. A lot of boxing fans seem to have a disdain for MMA and its fans for some unknown reason. Although I think it has a lot to do with the fact that MMA is getting more popular by the day and boxing is on its way out. I think its great however that the Ali set is coming out, as he is a legend that transcends sports.

Always Lookin for Cubs, Bears, Bulls and MMA.

MMA and Boxing go hand and hand, any MMA guy will tell you that. "Fans" can be stupid.

RE: FINALLY!
Hilfiger obviously you know nothing about MMA as Dwegner is totally correct. I have been doing MMA for about 15 years and its not the same. Not even close. Boxing is only a part of MMA. We are MIXED martial ARTISTS and dont use sissy huge gloves either. Sorry MMA is king now and we hope you get a boxing board so we dont have to keep hearing about boxing's glory days which are long gone. Have fun with boxing as long as Don King and Bob Arum corrupt it on a daily basis.

ALSO collecting: Irving, Durant, Westbrook, Love, Heyward, O. Taveras, Trout, Harper, Soler and Cuban Baseball players!

Wow, you been taking MMA for 15 years and do not understand how MMA and boxing go hand and hand? MMA teaches boxing too. Which was the only thing i was saying. You might need to go back and read my old posts. I never claimed MMA and boxing was the same thing like i said go back and read my post. There is MANY gold gloves boxers that are in the UFC and MMA. I'm well aware about MMA, i trained for 2 years also and have many friends that train in Ohio under Jason Dent. And your right MMA is king now, but boxing is still very much liked and respected. Boxing is never gonna die because it can be a foundation for MMA much like wrestling now. Not too mention how many people go to Freddie Roach for lessons and training. You need to read what i said before you assume something. You being in MMA for 15 years should respect everything that goes into your MMA training including boxing.

Please read my post...

I never said it would be. But there's not a intelligent MMA fighter in the work that doesn't include boxing in his weekly training. It's common sense that a MMA artist will beat a pure boxer since a boxer isn't trainer to prevent takedowns.
