WOW! 1500 with still 6 days left! I knew the 90's Jordan Inserts were hot right now, but already double BV and still a week left, thats amazing!!

Its a very very nice card but I could just not justify paying 1500 for only an INSERT card! You could get 3 Jordan AUTOS for that price, and its not even over yet!

I have only spent more than $300 one time in the history of my collecting on packs or singles. I sold three high end cards on ebay to pay for the MJ rc in my bucket, and even then I spent way less than half of the price that card is gonna fetch.
WOW!!!

Even if I had that kind of money to throw around, I wouldn't spend it on this hobby. The wife almost killed me over the MJ. Even after I had warned her about me selling high dollar cards just to get it.

I think I might show her this auction so that she could realize how bad some collectors have that itch. I have been collecting for a long time but man there are other things that I believe would be better investments with that kind of money than a rare card with no features and only being hard to find.

P.S. I would spend that kind of extra cash on a new rifle probably. Its not like I am a day trader or anything like that, just a frugal redneck. Ha Ha

I have three comments.

Number one is this card is numbered to 100 made.

And number two is Blake Griffins sell for this ungraded.

Three, this is one reason sell value should not be the, be all, end all.

Blake Griffins dont sell for 1500! lol and the ones that do sell for a couple hundred are becasue they are autographed not just an INSERT!! And who cares if its only 100 made, its not like there are only 100 differnt Jordans out there. There are hundreds of cards that are only 100 made of Jordan what makes this so special to spend $1500 when there is still 6 days left!!!!

You also need to take into consideration he's the best player of modern basketball history and the card is 12 years older than Blake's. Half of those 100 could have got damaged. And that card is also graded, Blake's sell ungraded for more than that.

I agree gimme the $1,500.00 Jordan signed. =)

I'm guessing, but i think there's a shill bidder in the auction.
