question about TNA Xtreme
Greetings guys! Today I busted a box of TNA Xtreme (which was a bad idea lol). When I was putting the set in order, I noticed that card #92 (Mike Tenay), the # on it was white instead of black like it was on every other card. Now I only pulled one #92 so I wasn't able to check, but is there a reason why this card is the only one in the set to be #ed in white? Is this some kind of weird TRISTAR parallel thing? lol LMK guys! Thanks!

Collecting: Red Wings, Colts, Lions, Players in U of MI jerseys, HOFers, cut signatures, Topps Ticket Stubs, and Celtics

I haven't opened any, so I don't know what the backs look like. But what color is the background where the number is at? If it has a dark background from some kind of picture (like someone wearing a black/darker shirt or something), they probably made it white to be seen.

I've seen this throughout the years with many companies where they change the coloring of words or numbers to get a better contrast.

Doubtful that it would be a parallel with just that being the difference.

It's on the back, the same colored back as all the other cards, no reason that only this card will be white...maybe TRISTAR is just nuts lol

That is a distinct possibility!

RE: question about TNA Xtreme
I just sold all my singles for $.99, I noticed the same thing with my Mike Tenay card when I was listing it. Dont think its a variation, for some reason that card just has the white on the back for no reason.

RE: question about TNA Xtreme
They are not taking their time. Trying to rush everything to compete with the Topps WWE sets. Look through your last few TNA sets and see how many wrestlers have the same picture for multiple sets.
The parallel autos from Icons are so screwed up I'm having a hard time collecting them. I only do #d autos which has been easy but the Icons have silver #d /50 cards & gold #d /50 cards.
