I want to trade with a MOD to prove I'm legit...

A MOD trade under my belt will hopefully get others to trade with me. And I know MODs are legit, so no worries there. I would agree to send first for trading with MODs ONLY.

I suggests that you both send first when trading with any MODS and regular members of Beckett until you reach 25 completed trades under your belt. You may disagree, I don't care. Try trading with the members who have a lot of completed trades and who have 5.00 to 4.95 trader rating. Hope you understand. Good luck.

If you are new like I am.... You will be sending first for a while...which I have no problem with doing. You sound very scared or something and that will also put people off I think. Sometimes you have to take a look at the trades feedback and go for it.

I think you will have a hard time finding experienced traders here who won't expect you to send first. Just because you have one good trade under your belt ( whether its with a mod or not) won't earn you the trust of folks. When I was new I had to ship first for a while....it's just what most will expect. If you have the cards you say, you will have no problem finding trading partners, but people will be understandable suspicious until you earn their trust.

It's just my opinion. Take it for what it's worth.

Trading with a MOD isn't going to make it so that you don't have to send first to more established members here, especially since you have the MSF tag.

On any other trade site, you can expect to be sending first for at least your first 20 trades with established members, and if you didn't agree to that they wouldn't allow you to trade at all,

here we are pretty lenient about it, and allow the established members to decide if you should send first or not, but, you can surely expect to send first especially now that you have the MSF tag, until you can prove that your trustworthy

well i have heard about people scammed by members with good feedback b/c they "changed their mind" about the deal


also if I complete 1 trade pos feedback I should be able to receive first with someone with no feedback right?

You are right that having high feedback doesn't guarantee that you won't get scammed but it does provide a certain comfort level.

If you are both new, I would suggest sending at the same time.

One positive feedback from a trade with a MOD is not enough for you to demand on another new member without a feedback to send first!

That is what I believe in.
