Honestly I questioned if the boxes weren't searched. Topps packaging wasn't anything special. Plus I had doubts about the honesty of the site I got them from to begin with. Like an idiot I bought them anyway because the price was right. Dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb. Needless to say I will NEVER purchase from them again.
At the end of the 2008 season, I was enamored with Exquisite Football. I bought a case and also bought 2 individual boxes from sellers on line. Some sellers were selling the sealed inner box seperately from the extra card inserted that year. Both times the "sealed" inner box came with extremely bad cards. Either the seller opened the box with the big hit in the case and sold off the rest or the pack had been searched and re-sealed. Never again will I buy high end boxes of cards on line.

You have a couple of nice hits (the Ryan and Spiller). I' wouldn't have been entirely disappointed. I'm just not sure there's enough to justify case price.

I bought it from a "reputable" site. Not ebay and not opened already. They were supposed to be sealed cases. I have purched 2 08-09 Exquisite basketball cases and now 1 Five Star from them. They were all bad. I have also purchased high end cases from DA and while I don't get amazing stuff everytime they certainly have a better track record than the site I'm speaking of.

RE: Five Star Case...uhhhm
You know, with National Treasures drop date looming, I wqas thinking about buying from that place you probably got them from bc the price is so cheap, about $100 less than my good friends hobby shop where I generally buy all my unopened stuff from. I gotta say, this thread has probably dissuaded me from buying, just based on your admonition alone. So, if nothing else, I thank you for bringing this to light and changing my mind about buying online. Especially with a three box case like NT, there is too great a possibiity of some shenanigans.

My purchases were also from a well known seller (highly rated as well). I buy a lot from DACardworld a lot, mostly cases. I'm pretty happy with it for the most part. The bottom line is no matter who's selling, if the price is too good, then there's a reason.
