Am looking to trade for 2001 Ladainian Tomlinson Playoff Contenders rookie card, either BGS 9.5 or PSA 10 graded. I have sent numerous examples of these cards to both PSA and BGS only to have them returned to me as having shaved edges. Apparently this is a major issue with this card and after discussing this with several reputable dealers, they seem to think that 50% of the population (approximately 300 of the original 600 population) could be trimmed or altered in some form. I looked the population reports for both PSA and BGS and there seems to be evidence that this may be true, as very few have been graded period, let alone in Gem Mint.
