First Box Break in a few Years (and a bowman platinum tip)
Hey guys as you may know, im new to the boards around here and recently posted a thread about helping a reutrning collector out. Thanks for all those replys again, i felt very welcome.
Well as i said i ran down to my local card shop in CT and picked up 2 boxes of 2010 Bowman Chrome. Although it was not what i was originally looking for, the price couldnt be beat ($40 a box, $75 for the two and 2 free packs of 2010 topps chrome). All i did was talk with the shop owner for about 25 minutes and, bam i couldnt resist and he was exceptionally friendly. The topps chrome were nothing special, buyt i was satisfied with the bowman chrome. As i mentioned before and will mention again, this was actually my 1st break in about 3-4 years and i love thi shobby more than i ever have. This is What i pulled... 1st box: Strasburg RC Stanton RC Shelby Miller Refractor (I am a Cardinals Fan) Grant Green Topps 100 2 Hits!!! -USA dual auto 74/500 Henry and Pleifer III -Tyrace Thompson Prospect AU 2nd box: Strasburg RC Heyward RC (x2) yes i did get 2 in one box Hit!! -Miguel Sano prospect AU Shelby Miller blue Refractor (i was reallly happy!!!) Dustin Ackley topps 100 So i though it was a great 2 boxes and cant wait to send out my wrappers for the redemption program. Now i wanted to tell those fond of 2010 Bowman Platinum that Target is selling 3 retail packs of Bowman platinum and 3 purple refractors for $8.99, i went there and immediatley noticed that some of the packs inside the see through wrapping that houses the 3 packs and refractors were MUCH thicker than others. I instinctivley bought the 3 that i saw were thicker and got 2 thick gold refractors of 2 USA baseball players (nothing special) and one Pablo Sandoval Relic Auto 264/740, What a steal! Try your luck at your local target if you a chance, i wasnt disappointed at all... Thanks |

Very interested in the Sano auto. I have a Jim Edmonds auto and Pujols patch I would trade for it.

Sorry, probably not going to trade, i loved these two boxes to much.
I just posted to tell trhe forums what i got cause they helped me out so much in the past few weeks. |
