fgs grading

fgs grading
i have several cards that have been graded by fgs (finest grading service). it is not an option for grades among grading companies when tagging a card in organize.

i don't know much about them, and suspect they are not popular as, say, psa, gai . . . or, of course, bccg ;-)

so, two questions:

1. can anybody give me an honest assessment about the status of fgs graded cards?

2. is there any way we could get an fgs option in the graded section of cards in organize (or at least a generic 'other' option) when we list grading company?

cheers!

Stick with the "BIG 3" BGS, PSA, and SGC. The other graders are not respected or could be altered.

Trading ANYTHING in my Photobucket for these cards:

M. Jordan 1986-87 Fleer #57 BGS 8
M. Jordan (BGS)
C. Barkley (BGS)
L. Gehrig (BGS, SGC, PSA)
BASKETBALL GRADED CARDS (BGS)

thanks for the reply! Big Grin

so, i suspect that means adding the 'other' option for grading companies in organize is not likely.

a generic "other" isnt a bad idea.

though if i had something graded by FGA, id unslab it. i think offbrand companies (basically "pay for a grade" companies) hurt the value of a card, more than anything else. also, their slabs arent really great at protecting the card

RE: fgs grading
thanks, this is really helpful! i have never touched graded cards before, but got a good deal for a bunch of them, and found some of these fgs cards amongst the others, and really had no point of reference.

cheers!
