Does BGS have a warranty policy? :)
Ok, so I tried showing a friend how durable BGS slabs were. I grabbed my oversized slab that has the mini Michael Jordan Jersey AU in it and tossed (not threw) it on the floor (carpeted). Well, now in the bottom right corner, it's split along the seems and i I pull hard enough I'm sure I could get the jersey out of there. I bought it just about two months ago, but I figured if they have a "if you can break it we'll fix it policy," then I'll get it reslabbed. Otherwise, I'll have to wait. Thanks.

The only warranty is mostly for stuff that came delivered to you broken. You can however send it in and pay to have it reslabbed.

The slab technicians are looking into this right now. From what I know Slab Guy is really smart and takes a lot of crap and is working on a bulletproof encasing 24 hours a day. A plus side is that it weighs little or almost nothing. If you keep your broken tab, I promise we will give you something great, like a higher rate on a new one.
I've posted a sticky thread that is colorcoated about what kind of items the new slabs will and will not protect from. For instance it will protect from soda spills so that row is colored green. Things like dog whiz are colored red becuase they are not protected I will do my best to keep you updated on any new developments on Beckett's slab technology. Thanks. |

Talk to that you tube dude that took different graded company's cards and abused it to breaking point. At one time he claimed that the beckett graded card can be run over by a car with no "real" damage on something to that effect. he even said you can leave the beckett graded card under water for up SEVEN DAYS without worrying about water getting in there. Now, I wish I saved that little video.

Now, I wish I saved that little video. Well this was one of the bigger holders, not just a regular card holder. It'd be big enough for a 4x6 picture to fit in there. So I'm not sure if they're less durable than the smaller ones (most likely) but it just sucks that I spent $40 to get it slabbed, and then that happens. MODERATORTOS-Read it
