No, I was apologizing to those who were affected by my thread deletions because I know ping was affected by mine. As far as the others, I'm not sure what happened.

Now, I have deleted quite a few threads out of the help forum to keep it tidy, but I didn't delete many out of there yesterday or today. Also, I had a few other users, before I realized it dropped post counts, that told me to go ahead and either delete all of their previous threads or up to a certain point. It could have been in theirs, I'm not sure.

RE: Post count dropped by 100
Well, whatever the reason, there is something wrong with a system that allows members' post counts to be reduced by 40% without their knowledge. Especially when they arbitrarily decided to change the ranking system to be based on post count. What's next??? This is getting more bizarre with every day that passes.

I don't have many posts, but I did notice it dropped by about 5.

That is why I'm going to talk to them and see what can be done about making that number a static number. As for the ranking, the forum ranking is different from trading ranking. I don't know too many people who look at forum ranking too much.

RE: Post count dropped by 100
post counts were dropped because really, about 10% of what any of yall say is completely useless, so it got dropped by the system. from now, useless posts wont count towards your total count, and will be auto-detected by POST-TERMINATOR 3000 (a fully owned division of Cyberdyne Technologies)

(as a sidenote: does it really matter of your post counts drop 10%? really? i mean, even if everything else was working 100%...would this really be an issue?)

It doesn't matter as I stated in the initial post. It just seemed strange. For all we knew it was a glitch and the same thing could happen to our trades or our organize. Thankfully it is just because the boards are being cleaned up.

Looking for Ryne Sandberg, Micah Gibbs, and Cubs Topps commons.
Now using paypal shipping so everyone will get a DC number and no more trips to P.O.!

RE: Post count dropped by 100
I noticed the other day that mine had dropped by about 250. I didn't affect my ranking but my ranking never updated when the new site went live. I had just went up to Level 4 about two days before the site switch. Now I am a 3 instead, but oh well.

Always looking for: Ozzie Smith/Stan Musial/Lou Brock/STL Cardinals, NFL-CAR/GB/NE and NASCAR-Jimmie Johnson/Mark Martin

I also noticed my total number of trades went up by 10,000. Now Im up to 60,000+ total trades.... too funny. Everyone is holding out hope but I think we are as doomed as the last site.
CBF dropped to a little over 12,000. I noticed it yesterday when he posted in another thread.
