I have a local shop who likes to try selling stuff a day before the rest of the lcs, so I was able to get a box yesterday. Of course, I picked 1 box from the case, the owner picked the next one down and pulled a Tebow out of the first pack!!! Anyways, here are the autos. Some of these are variations, but Panini hasn't announced which version is limited:

The variations have to do with home jersey/ away jersey, but as said, Panini hasn't yet announced which are scarce.

I saw 3 other boxes besides mine opened, it seems there is a really good variety of auto'd hits to be found. However, very few hits seem to be numbered at all, so it's hard to tell what is limited and what isn't right now..

I don't remember Contenders ever numbering the auto RC's ever. It's always been announced print runs.

Contenders were ser #d in 2003, but that's the last time, I think. Good looking cards! And five hits in a box isn't too shabby either!

They haven't in a while. I was thinknig more about the other subsets.There are parallels of the base set that are numbered (as in past years), but there are also numbered parallels of the SuperBowl Tickets (as well as unnumbered auto'd versions), and there are NFL Ink and Rookie Ink auto cards inserted that are not numbered ( I saw 2 of those yesterday)...

You got some awesome cards there, not a bad box at all. Hopefully some of them end up being SPs as well! Should be a couple of weeks before we know for certain, but I'm sure collectors will be figuring most of them out sooner than that.
